I’m writing this to bring some awareness and clarity about Paleo Diet - What is it? Why do we want to follow this/ What benefits do we get out of it? What is the menu? How difficult it’s to follow etc.,
Ok, Let’s starts with what is - In layman terms, It’s all about no carbohydrate, only protein. If you take carbs, all your energy is created by burning the same carb, not from the fat. If no-carb or reduce carb level, slowly the energies start created by burning the fat - It brings down unwanted fat from your body.
People following this diet for different reasons - Weight loss, Rejuvenate. The outcomes are great. Personally, I feel very light and thin even with 185 cms height and 88 kgs weight (Yes, I got reduced 5 kgs 93 -> 88 in a month time), more active (Initial one week time you feel sleepy, looks dull, it change after that), You start saving more energy in your body.
Breakfast - Butter coffee/tea - 250 ml or 100 kms badam or eggs in any form boiled/omelet/half-boiled/ full boiled.
Lunch - Full of vegetables - Cabbage, Cauliflower, Mushroom, Broccoli, Carrot, Beetroot or Eggs or Meat - Mutton, Chicken, Fish, Duck, Beef, Pork, Prawn or Panneer - Compulsory Spinach on no meat days.
Dinner - Eggs or Meat.
Cheese, Fruits (guava), Nuts.
The important thing - Strictly, we shouldn’t take anything in between meals - It’s good to follow the regular timing 8 AM, 2 PM, and 8 PM. Also, you can feel free to skip meals if you are not hungry.
Take 4 litres of water every day plain or with a mix of lemon/ cider vinegar.
Yes, It’s difficult to follow, but as like every other thing, it’s a bit difficult at the beginning, and it comes to regular after a week or 2 weeks, But don’t cheat even a single time. Then it becomes a bit more regular, and it brings out from this diet.
Let’s follow this wonderful old age food habit and get all benefits out of it.
